TechSoup

Visual design, marketing design, brand development
Summer 2016
-

Over summer, I interned on the Marketing Team at a nonprofit called TechSoup. As part of the Marketing Team, aside from my research and strategy projects, I sought opportunities to create visual assets to support and enhance digital marketing goals.

My main goals were to create eye-catching images that integrated the vibrance of the TechSoup brand identity, incorporated elements of collaborating companies, and visually conveyed information about the event/resource/campaign content, that would also stand out in social media feeds.

SYMANTEC CAMPAIGN

I created two graphics for the Symantec campaign that ran as Facebook and Twitter ads, and were featured on the TechSoup site in late August. The first was for promoting a live-chat with the Symantec CSR team on Symantec's CSR policies, directions, and on network security. The second was to promote the "Mission: Possible" success-story submission contest, and ultimately get TechSoup members to share how Symantec has impacted their organizations.

EVENTS + RESOURCES

I also made images to accompany social media posts for events like "Stay in Sync," a live-chat with Microsoft Office 365 experts, a webinar on web accessibility, as well as a GIF to promote a for-fun feature on TechSoup, an Annual Report jargon generator for nonprofits.
